Based on one of Roald Dahl's best-loved characters.
Matilda is neglected and mistreated by her parents. She develops psychokinetic abilities to deal with Miss Trunchbull, the ruthless and cruel headmistress of Crunchem Hall School. This musical film maintains the mischievous humour and the uniquely oddball sensibility of the stage production and book.
Stars include Emma Thompson and Stephen Graham.
