About this event
“Essential viewing” – The Guardian
For five years, Palestinian activist Basel Adra has filmed the destruction of his community, Masafer Yatta, under Israeli occupation. Documenting soldiers demolishing homes in the West Bank’s largest forced transfer, Basel has fought this expulsion since childhood. He forms an unexpected alliance with Yuval, an Israeli journalist who joins his struggle. Their bond grows despite the stark imbalance between them—Basel under occupation, Yuval free.
Created by a Palestinian-Israeli activist collective, this film emerges from a time of terror, blending creative resistance with a quest for justice and equality in the face of apartheid.
