Sailors Gabey, Chip and Ozzie (memorably played by Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra and Jules Munshin) are let loose on a 24-hour pass in New York.
Gabey sees a poster of “Miss Turnstile” and falls head over heels for her, innocent Chip gets hijacked by a lady cab driver, and Ozzie meets a gorgeous anthropologist who thinks he’s the perfect example of “prehistoric man”.
Wonderful music and terrific shots of New York. Won an Oscar for music.
