About this event
Non, je ne regrette rien.
Biography of eccentric French singer Edith Piaf (brilliantly played with a throaty drawl by Marion Cotillard) whose life was packed with scandal and incident.
Neglected by her mother, Piaf was brought up by her grandmother who ran a brothel and later by her father, an acrobat in a circus.
She seeks her fortune singing in the smoky bars of 1930s Paris and on the streets where she is discovered one day by an impresario, Gérard Depardieu, the beginning of her rise to fame.
Directed by Olivier Dahan.
