About this event
How do you break up with a best friend?
The small Irish island of Inisherin 1923. Pádraic (Colin Farrell) and Colm (Brendan Gleeson) have been friends for as long as anyone can remember. But one day, while civil war rages on the mainland nearby, Colm suddenly announces that the friendship is over.
The dependable but dull Pádraic is confused and devastated, while the largely inscrutable Colm starts taking incomprehensively drastic measures.
Fantastic acting performances from Farrell and Gleeson and featuring some of director Martin McDonagh’s finest work, this film received nine Oscar nominations.
