About this event
‘Nothing says goodbye like a bullet’
Private eye Philip Marlowe, played by an unshaven, chain-smoking Elliott Gould in a sour bittersweet performance, drives his friend Terry Lennox to the Mexican border in the middle of the night only to be imprisoned when he gets home for aiding and abetting the murder of his mate’s wife. He is released after a few days but that is only the beginning of the story…
Directed by Robert Altman and also starring Nina Van Pallandt and Sterling Hayden.
