Ropetackle Arts Centre is celebrating this week after being Highly Commended in the Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure category at the Adur and Worthing Business Awards 2022. The award was presented at a glittering gala dinner at the Pavilion Theatre in Worthing on Friday 4^th November.

Presented by broadcaster and writer Simon Fanshawe OBE, this award highlighted the valued contribution Ropetackle makes to the local economy and community, our objectives and achievements, and how we have overcome challenges. The Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure category was sponsored by Adur & Worthing Councils.

The event was attended by nearly 400 guests all representing the Adur & Worthing business community. The entries were judged by a panel of five who each representing a wide range of business sectors and professions.

Ropetackle’s Chairman Martin Allen said: “Well done to all the finalists and winners, the awards team for putting on such a wonderful ceremony, but most of all, thanks go to the amazing team of volunteers, friends, patrons, sponsors and staff we have at Ropetackle who make everything possible.

“Ropetackle has a fantastic reputation for live entertainment and its community events and we are delighted to have been recognised as a viable player in the business community.”
