Who we are
Since opening in 2007, Ropetackle has established itself as one of the most vibrant and distinctive arts venues in the region, combining a programme of quality arts and entertainment with a rich and diverse mix of community activities.
What we do
From jazz festivals to comedy nights, family theatre to classic rock, spoken word to film, Ropetackle offers an eclectic programme appealing to all.
With a fully-equipped auditorium, spacious foyer and multi-purpose mezzanine room, Ropetackle hosts a wide range of activities, meetings, classes and workshops alongside its main artistic programme. We also run a range of community outreach projects and activities.
Attracting audiences of over 50,000 per year, supported by 520+ Friends and Patrons and 80+ volunteers, Ropetackle plays a unique and established role at the heart of the community, contributing around £1.4m annually to the local economy.

There is the opportunity for Business Sponsors to be invited to join Ropetackle’s Business Club. This is a high-level group led by Ropetackle’s Chairman, that meets quarterly to discuss issues of interest and to help inform Ropetackle’s business strategy going forward.
